Raw Brownie Bites (5 Ingredients)
Raw Brownie Bites are made with only 5 ingredients, are vegan and gluten-free, and are a perfect quick healthy breakfast or snack!
I guest blogged these over on Confessions of a Confectionista and helping Meriem with posts while she is celebrating Ramadan. What did I bring to the table? Raw brownie bites. I’ve decided to share them over here with you!
I’m on a whole health kick right now and have been experimenting with vegan recipes and I’ve been loving dates. If you’ve never tried them, dates are naturally sweet, and remind me of like a chewier, sweeter raisin loaded with tons of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. That’s why they had to be the prime ingredient in these raw brownies bites, next to chocolate of course.
The texture is there, the chewiness, and most important of all, THE CHOCOLATE of these raw brownie bites matches right up to brownies. I am trying so hard not to devour these babies but it’s really hard! They are also made in a much shorter time than regular brownies which are also a plus :). As a synopsis these bites are:
Chocolatey
Chewy
Sweet
Cute and
Addictive!
I would recommend rolling them in saran wrap because boy are they sticky at first! Once they go into the fridge and set, they’re perfect. You could even roll them in chocolate chips, or coconut (yum). Best part? If it’s summer where you are, you won’t need to turn on the oven for this. Win Win!

Heading on over to Meriam’s blog, Jessica!
I’ve recently discovered these kinds of raw bites and LOVE them! They’re so easy to make (and eat!)
Have a great weekend, Jessica!
Thanks Helen! Have a great weekend too!
Ooooh these look so delish-can’t believe they’re vegan!!
LOVE the clean ingredients in this recipe! And who in their right mind can resist chocolate — or brownies??! 😉
Haha thanks Megan! My point exactly!
I just made these for my AP Biology project on the over-consumption of animals and animal products. I browsed the Internet for hours looking for simple but yummy vegan treats to prove that veganism is more than just tofu and bananas! I love love these so much!!!
Hi Veah,
So glad you love them! Yes, veganism is SO much more! I have an entire vegan section on my blog if you want some more ideas. I love tofu and bananas but haha you can get so much more than that! Thanks for your feedback!
Do these need to be served chilled, or just set in the fridge to work? Look so good!
Hi Alicia,
After they’ve been set, it doesn’t have to be necessarily chilled but I wouldn’t have it out on the counter for more than an hour. Hope that helps!
