Updated: April 2022.
Jessica in the Kitchen strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. Jessica in the Kitchen, Inc. has invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that its website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that website accessibility efforts assist all users and that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.
I will make every reasonable effort to make this page accessible. I will do my best to work on the accessibility of my website as fast as I can, but kindly understand that we have are currently a team consisting of myself and my husband, but are trying to get more help to work on this as quickly as possible. Please bear with us in the meantime.
Accessibility on jessicainthekitchen.com
Jessica in the Kitchen continues its efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of its site and services in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible and unhindered use also for those of us with disabilities.
Despite my best efforts to make all pages and content on jessicainthekitchen.com fully accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.
Areas for improvement and time-lines
Website: I am in the process of rebranding my entire website to make it more accessible. This will correct several areas that are not up to the standard that I desire it to be in terms of accessibility. My hope is that by March 2021, this is remedied.
Images: I will update the alt-text of the photos in my posts continually. I hope to have improved the accessibility of all the photos in all my posts by January 2021. If you have problems reading the photos, please send me a message at email@example.com
Audit: I will been in touch with an accessibility auditor and will be scheduling an audit of jessicainthekitchen.com shortly to learn which further areas need to be improved to reach accessibility standards on this website.
