Stocking a Vegetarian Whole Foods Pantry
I’ve gotten some questions on what I keep primarily in my kitchen so I decided that doing a pantry list on Stocking a Vegetarian Whole Foods Pantry would be a helpful guide! I wouldn’t say everything is essential to have at all times, but it certainly helps (vegetarian or not) to have these whole food ingredients available in the house – they not only encourage you to cook more often at home but what you eat will be better! I’ll link to some of my favourite recipes I’ve created with these ingredients. Click through for a PRINTABLE version! Happy Eating!
I am not a vegetarian, but I do enjoy meatless meals. Thanks for this wonderful roundup.
Look forward to your date syrup recipe!
Angie
Thanks Angie! Sharing it soon :).
We keep pretty much the exact same things on hand 🙂 Except for olives – they completely gross me out! haha Hope you are having a great weekend lady!
Haha sorry about the olives! Thanks Ashley and have a great weekend too :)!
Well, I know where I’m going to go next time I need groceries -expect a knock at your door! hehe Your pantry looks like my pantry! I love that you’ve included tahini, because I can really never get enough of that stuff. And beans. Grains. Oils. We’re pantry soulmates! I agree about having the pantry stocked really does encourage you to cook at home more often. I always feel so much better with a well-stocked kitchen! Makes me feel good for those just-in-case times. Great post and great guide! 🙂
Haha we definitely are pantry soul mates! I ran through a lot of tahini in a short while (hummus addict) and YES it’s the best. A well-stocked kitchen does make you feel better doesn’t it?! Thanks so much Allison! 🙂
Jessica, I am SO impressed with this neat, organized list! Even though, like you my kitchen is already stocked with mainly whole ingredients, some of these ingredients I’ve never even heard of or tried before!
Thanks so much Sarah!
You have some phenomenal staples in here! I need to add to my chip collection 🙂
Thanks so much Erin!
This is SO helpful. We’re usually so motivated about our healthy eating but lately have totally fallen off the wagon and needed some inspiration. This is it! Using this as an excuse to stock up on some deliciousness 🙂
So glad to have helped Cheryl! Haha I love a great excuse for deliciousness! 🙂
I just added a printable version without the pictures you can download! 🙂
What a great round-up, Jessica! Love how organized this is. My pantry is definitely lacking in a few of these items, so I’m definitely taking some notes.
Thanks Gayle! I just added a printable version without the pictures you can download! 🙂
I didn’t know you went vegetarian! How neat I know I did it for two years after watching Food Inc. Josh was not having it (long story) lol, so we just buy all are meat from local ranchers now. I keep most if not all this in my pantry now, seeds and nuts are very high in magnesium, but I get addicted and have more then I need and pack on the pounds quickly. I am so obsessed with making date syrup it is so good. I can’t wait to see your recipe 🙂
Haha yes I am! Thanks Shundara :).
This is wonderful! I am going to have to print it out and tack it to the door of my pantry. I HATE running out of the essentials!
Thanks Nora! I just added a printable version without the pictures you can download! 🙂
