In the next few days to come, there will be a series of posts themed for Thanksgiving here on Jessiker Bakes, a Traditional Thanksgiving Spread themed specifically for Two. By two people, I mean with plenty of leftovers of course, but just enough variety to enjoy the holiday. Of all of the meals, I think that the Cornbread Stuffing was not only my favourite, but also that of everyone who tasted. I must say though that turkey and cranberry sauce really does pair well together! This is my very first Thanksgiving, and I plan to celebrate it to the fullest; giving thanks in my own way not just for my blessings but for this heavenly food!

I hope you enjoy these recipes! Needless to say my family more than welcomed hours of baking, filming and finally eating the food that was made. I also sense a general consensus that this should be a yearly occurrence, whether it is officially celebrated here or not. The food that it generally present as a Thanksgiving dinner is of such a homely nature that it ought to be welcome more often! Calorie wise, I can completely understand though, especially since it and Christmas are so near to each other! So, what are you doing for Thanksgiving? Let me know and have a great one!
