Fried Polenta

This fried polenta recipe features creamy homemade polenta that is cooled, cut into strips, and fried to crispy perfection!

Simple Ingredients

You'll only need water, salt, polenta, and a few other ingredients to make this easy recipe.

Boil salted water and whisk in the polenta. Add garlic powder and olive oil, reduce heat, and simmer until thickened.

Pour the polenta into the prepared pan and smooth it into an even layer with a rubber spatula. Cool to room temperature.

Turn out the cooled polenta onto a cutting board. Cut it into strips about 3 inches long and ½ inch thick.

Fry the polenta strips in hot oil for 3 minutes, flipping them with a spider skimmer every 30 seconds or so.

Transfer the fried polenta to a prepared plate.

Sprinkle the polenta fries with vegan Parmesan and fresh parsley before serving.
