So I was thinking to my self, self, you should do some gift guides. I always see these perfect gifts so I decided to share them with you. Except, there are so many different types of foodies – I personally split them into your traditional foodie, your techie foodie, your glamorous, chic foodie and of COURSE your male foodie! So I’m making a separate guide for all of them. I’m starting with techie foodie because I personally see myself as that!
1. Belkin Kitchen Stand and Wand for Tablets

“Made especially for use in the kitchen, the Chef Stand + Stylus gives you the freedom to interact with your tablet while you cook—without worrying about touching your device with messy hands.” I love this. I can’t say how many times my poor iPad has almost (okay it has suffered) suffered from a flour blow.
2. Disposable Sleeves for iPad – 25 Pack by Chef Sleeve (and iPhone)
So gift number 1 was great…but what happens when you need to flip a page (or answer a FaceTime!) and well, you simply want to step the game up just a bit. Well, there’s an app…okay there’s a sleeve for that. “No longer do aspiring and accomplished foodies have to worry about bringing technology to the most hostile environment in the home – the kitchen. Chef Sleeves for iPad are the ideal solution to messy situations including spills, batter, powder and messy fingers. Simply slide the device into a sleeve and close the sticky strip. That’s it.”
What’s even better? They have an iPhone sleeve too. For someone like me, that’s superb.
3. Cheat Sheet Kitchen Apron
Not only is this genius, it upside down since well, it just makes sense! You can read it easily while wearing it. Whoever designed this was thinking properly.
4. Joseph Joseph 3-in-1 Design Rotary Peeler
This compact peeler has three stainless steel blades for three different uses. The standard blade is perfect for potatoes and carrots, the soft skin blade can be used on tomatoes and kiwi and the Julienne blade provides lovely Julienne peels, and can be used on just about any fruit or vegetable. With its twist dial, changing blades is quick and easy. Designed for both right and left handed use. – Some is thinking about us left-handed people!

5. Rub Away Bar

Wow. This is ingenious and gorgeous at the same time. “Rub away the odors from garlic, fish and other foods with this clever device featuring a comfortable soap bar design. Simple chemistry eliminates odors as you “wash” your hands with water using the bar as “soap.”
6. Bodum® Bistro 10-Ounce Double Wall Glass (Set of 2)
“The Bistro double wall glasses are perfectly suited for a multitude of hot and cold beverages as well as desserts. Made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass, these vessels guarantee that their contents will remain hot for a longer period of time while the glass itself remains cool to the touch.”

7. Twisting Sisters Kitchen Timer

8. Kitchen Aid Mixer
The ultimate techie gift.
