Here are my 10 Favourite Vegan Easter Recipes! From breakfast to dinners to desserts, something for everyone! These are all gluten free too!
Easter is right around the corner! To celebrate, I wanted to share my 10 favourite vegan Easter recipes with you! Okay I’ll admit – they are mainly carrot based, but what can I say – I love carrots! I threw in a mix of yummy vegan breakfasts, desserts and some dinner ideas, include a vegan tofu scramble for the eggs part!
Some background on my history with Easter. In Jamaica, Easter food traditionally consists of lots of fish, such as sprat (lots) and bun and cheese. Bun and cheese is basically a spiced sweet bun and it’s served with cheese in the middle. Some people love it plain, but some like myself and my dad with lots of fruit or raisins in it. Here’s a picture for reference: here. It’s a treat I loved for years!! I do hope one day to do a somewhat healthier version of it for you guys to share some of my history!
P.S. – all of these recipes are gluten free, too! Of course if you’re not gluten free, you can make them using your own flour. If you do have relatives who are gluten free though (or vegan, or both!) the combination would be such a great treat for them. For dessert, I recommend the Carrot Cake Muffins. There’s a nice backstory as to how my uncle loved them so much and didn’t even know they were vegan (until I told him, kinda bragging, of course).
